Exploring Memphis
On the second/first day in Tennessee we had went on a look out for great places to visit wile we were here in Memphis. First we walked to Slave Haven and we had a tour in a house that was used for the underground railroad and hiding runaway slaves. Next we find what no one in Arizona could ever imagine. A big metal... pyramid! Yes, a pyramid made out of metal. Just in the middle of the city. I wanted to go see what was inside it but my mom said that she wanted to go in about 30 minutes. So we all tried to run to the metal triangle and made it just in time with only about 20 minutes left to see what was inside. But when we went inside to see what was in it, i expected like a museum or a monument. No, what was in it was a Bass Pro Shop. Yep. A Bass Pro shop, in the pyramid. I was amazed by it all. Inside, it was like a swamp town with lakes with fish in them, dining areas, Alligator tanks, an arcade, a fudge shop, and a giant elevator to the top of the pyramid. My mom said she didn't want to go on the elevator because it was too high. So we went to the fudge shop instead. When we got to the shop, we got different types of fudge. I don't remember what flavors we got but all i remember is we got Butter finger, pumpkin pie, and cookies 'n' cream. When we were about to leave the shop, i asked the lady who worked at the shop what is it like to work in a shop like this? She said that she just got in the job and is pretty awesome to work here. She also said that this used to be a basket ball stadium. Once we left we went out the wrong way and someone told us that the exit was the other way. when we got back inside i saw that there was a table for renovations for a hotel. Now that surprised me. The only way back to the car which is still at the hotel, we used the trolley. We also used it to get to Slave Haven. Soon we were in the van and we were off to Nashville, TN. Where it is my turn to think what to do. I'm hoping we'll go to a Haunted House! :P
