Even the Weather is Bigger in Texas

This morning we went to Anchor Point, the Cooley's church and left immediately after to resume our journey. Just outside Albuquerque there was a small stretch of road where, if you drive at 45 mph, you can hear a song.

Once in Amarillo, Texas we met up with our cousin, Carissa, at a local restaurant. While at the restaurant, a tornado touched down 7 miles to the east! Since that was the direction of our next stop, we waited out the storm at her apartment. Thank you Carissa and happy birthday!

It was a very scary trip to Elk City where we had to stop instead of Oklahoma City our original destination. The fog was so thick we couldn't see anything in front of us. The storm should pass by overnight so we have smooth sailing tomorrow morning. Good night.
