I should have taken a right at Albuquerque

At the start of the trip we were all excited but we were sad to leave our friends and family. We stopped for our lunch in the northern part of Arizona where it was super cold . We were feeling nice  the first 10 seconds and then we were like, "This is too cold!"

The whole way there we were using our screens and took no notice of the landscape around us. We did look at the area when Mom told us to look and while we look, we really were waiting to go back to our screens and ignore the mesas.

We took a break at the New Mexico sign to take a picture in front of it. Then we stopped at a friends house in ABQ and had brinner (breakfast for dinner) with them. We enjoyed watching fireworks at the Balloon Fiesta and a bedtime story from author and friend, D. Cooley. (Check out Bizarre Bible Stories on Amazon). For sleeping arrangements, we are sleeping here in sleeping bags in one of the bedrooms.
